Glucam P20 is a clear, viscous liquid with little to no odour of its own. It is used mainly as a functional ingredient rather than for scent, valued for its ability to hold moisture and help blend other ingredients together.
In formulation work it is used in creams, lotions, gels and other cosmetic bases, where it helps disperse fragrance oils and other additives evenly through the mix. It is also used by some perfume and attar makers as a solubilizing aid when combining oils with water-based or mixed systems.
Blend into the water or liquid phase of a cosmetic formulation, stirring until fully incorporated. When used to help solubilize fragrance oils, mix it with the oil before combining with the rest of the base.
