Filter Pepper carries a sharp, spicy scent reminiscent of ground pepper, with a slightly warm and dry character. It works well as a top or middle note, lending a peppery edge to compositions without dominating them.
It is used in attar and perfume blending, soap making, and candle fragrance, where a spicy accent is wanted alongside floral, woody or citrus notes.
Blend in small proportion with a carrier oil or alcohol base, testing the strength before adding to a larger batch. Mix thoroughly to let the scent disperse evenly through the base.
