Ethylene Brassylate has a soft, clean musk character with a slightly sweet, powdery undertone. It lacks the sharper edge of some nitro or polycyclic musks, giving blends a smooth, rounded musk note that sits well under florals, woods and ambers.
It is used in attars, alcohol-based perfumes, soaps, candles and cosmetic formulations as a fixative, helping to slow the evaporation of lighter top and heart notes and extend the overall scent life of a blend.
Dissolve in alcohol for spray perfumes or blend directly into oil bases for attars; use alongside other musks or as a fixative layer under floral and woody accords.
