Ethyl Vanillin is a synthetic aroma chemical with a sweet, creamy, vanilla-type scent that reads stronger than plain vanillin. It carries warm, slightly sugary and balsamic facets that round out sweet compositions.
Dissolve a small portion in alcohol or a suitable solvent before blending into attars, perfumes or other formulations, as it has limited direct solubility in oils. Add gradually and check the scent strength before increasing the amount, since it is more potent than plain vanillin.
