D-Limonene carries a light, clean citrus odour close to orange peel. It is a common aroma chemical used in fragrance blends to bring a fresh top note, and it also acts as a solvent for other materials in a composition.
Add in small proportions to a fragrance or soap base and blend with other materials; it can also be used to help dissolve resins and thick aroma chemicals before combining them.
