Castor oil is a dense, viscous vegetable oil with a mild, faint odour and a pale yellow colour. It has a heavy texture that makes it useful for slowing evaporation and binding scent in oil-based blends.
Blend castor oil with attars, essential oils or fragrance oils to dilute and extend them, or add it to soap and cosmetic bases as a carrier oil. Mix in small proportions and stir well until fully combined.
