Cashmeran has a warm, musky scent with woody and amber undertones, often described as having a soft, powdery, slightly fruity background note. Its smell carries well in a blend without overpowering other materials, and it tends to add depth and a long-lasting quality to a composition.
Use in small proportions within a perfume or attar blend, dissolved alongside other aroma chemicals and a carrier such as alcohol or DPG. Blend gradually and test the mix before scaling up.
