Beeswax has a faint, warm, honey-like scent and a firm, slightly tacky texture that softens with heat. Its natural colour ranges from pale yellow to light brown depending on the batch, and it holds its shape at room temperature.
Melt gently using indirect heat such as a double boiler and blend with oils, butters or other waxes while warm. Allow to cool and set fully before handling or packing the finished product.
